@borisstrife Extremism is the problem armin, not religion. Don’t be an extreme atheist, better to be an atheist who is respectful of civilised, peaceful, inclusive religious beliefs.

Pardon? What is an extreme atheist? Religious beliefs are inherently extreme, because they make you be foolish... So better not to be foolish + peaceful.
-
... just in order not to be misunderstood... What I wanted to express is, that it is better not to be foolish BUT peaceful...

No it's not. It was under someone's rule for too long to show its ugly side. Now it's coming forward. Read about rationalists murder like Kalburgi, Pansare & Dhabolkar. Also about cow vigilance in India. And also love jihad vigilance.
-
Caste system is a vast sea of Hindu hate. So the less said about it the better.
-
Does all other religions do not have this kind of discrimination you have mentioned ? How many religions do you know about and how much do you know about ?
-
Proving every religion having discrimination doesn't make your region great

-
You are jumping the Gun ! I am not supporting any religion and it’s your assumption that I am. Why can’t you just answer the question instead of repeating your fixation on Hinduism ?
-
Why should I answer irrelevant questions?

-
That’s a very beautiful reply !

You'll get killed, if you criticize Hinduism. Dr Narendra Dabholkar, Govind pansare & M M Kalburgi have been murdered for criticising religion. No... Hinduism isn't atheist friendly. There are bunch of extremists/fanatics in Hinduism
-
Have you heard about Fatwas and Blasphemy laws , dear ?
-
Yes I do... But don't try to divert topic from Hinduism to another religion. Stop whataboutery
-
You question them, they will ask what about Islam and Christianity ?

-
whataboutery is in their blood. They also know from inside that god & religion are fictional concepts.
-
They are Mr K. I am certain about that. But your comments are not and are quite pernicious.

As a Hindu, I am asking why do u think it is nonsense. Give a legit example from an official source, not some cliché like I do not believe in god.
-
Hinduism intrigues me, but I don’t know much about it. How would you define it, and why is it sensible?
-
OK I will try, its more a philosophy or set of philosophies than religion. There's bhakti (devotion) and rituals too but unless you are only capable of surface level or low resolution thinking, you can see that the rituals are there for deeper purposes than just wish fulfilment
-
There are certainly some interesting aspects of Hinduism, like reincarnation for example.
-
Ya ,this is something no religious beliefs could lve. But wen it comes to the belief and practices it's more logical and peaceful .more and more of modern medication are being influenced by Indian ways .more importantly our religion is open to criticizsm and ideas .
