The sad thing is that this is one of the world’s easiest processes for immigrating to a country.
it really really isn't. some steps might be easier (eg: green card to citizenship), but on average, no it is extremely hostile. almost every other country in the world, with a job offer you can move there within 3 months and work there for 2 years without a moment of stress
They *claim* they support legal immigration, but *every single time* I asked them about any specific immigration policy, their stance is to make it more difficult or completely abolish it.
TLDR I just realized that I wish “anchor babies” was as much of a real thing as the crazy insane racist right wingers think it is, because that would legit be better for the world. (Before trumpets blow up my mentions, numerous studies show that this is not actually a thing!)
