I love YouTube and when the notification system was first introduced I was told it was a chance for subs to see "every video you upload" I supported or then. But why break this system too? Why let it be only a "if we think the video is good enough" system as well?

This is what it should be, this is why a lot of content creators are struggling like myself, with making content people love but yet when you have over 7k and only getting 61 per video is heart braking and makes you think YouTube doesn't care about smaller users etc

but mainly when i subscribe to someone i should see all their stuff, i don't have time to go and manually check every channel because i'm not being notified, again what would be the point of a sub count when you should just have the view count only

Think of the flip side. People who click subscribe expecting it to work the way it does now only to find out they're getting push notifications so they unsubscribe. YouTube found that the majority of users don't want all notifications. Your suggestion would have more problems.
