There is no medical society in the world that recommends routine infant circumcision. It is an assault on infants. Genital Autonomy for all.

Parents can do a medical literature search and come to their own decision about Male Circumcision.CDC and Mayo discuss it in terms of risk and benefits and to me that is the right approach.AAP lost me when they came out in support of peds Drs abandoning patients over vaccine

The CDC couldn't handle an Ebola outbreak. Their incompetence nearly lead to the beginning of a potential epidemic. Also, the US has a very high circumcision rate, but also has one of the highest STD rates in the western world. Anyone know why?

We don’t have the infrastructure in every hospital to deal with a level 4 pathogen. Nothing is going to fully eliminate the risk of STD’s.The high transmission rates are multifactorial. Time did an interesting piece on it.https://www.google.com/amp/amp.timeinc.net/time/5381625/std-rates-funding …

Which means circumcision is useless against STDs. There are these magical latex things called "condoms", which are far more effective. Regardless, it really goes to illustrate the sheer incompetence of the public sector.
