It is the tsiokolvsky equation which can be derived from the conservation of momentum, and it is used to calculate the velocity at the end of the propulsion, but it doesn t take into account of the air resistance
I think, I am not sure about the exact name of it, but it was what I used for my model rocket calculation (but i took into account the air resistance) and the results were coherent
