La version A5-E/SV "Versatile" a existé un temps dans les études et les projet d'évolution, mais elle a vite disparue et convergée vers les versions A5 ES ATV puis Galileo : A5E/S-ATV, puis A5E/S-GAL. L'appellation "A5-ESV" n'a jamais été utilisée pour un vol, pas même pour V181.
