Why still planning to use SRBs on the Ariane 6 when we know that it's not practical at all for reusability and worst for the environment compared to methalox engines? Doesn't this sound very sunk cost fallacist and keeping Ariane from moving much faster toward low cost launches?

Because Vegas : it's the first stage, so it's mass produced. And small solid are pretty cheap I think. Methalox is far from flight proven, and totally new for Ariane, no way to jump from highly reliable A5 with hydrolox to a A6 with brand new everything, without some prototype.

Great initiative ! I do have a few questions
How does Ariane communicate with the ground during its flight? Is there an antenna on each stage/EAP ?
And what data does it send back to the ground stations ?

I thought of new questions ^^ What is the « weirdest », most surprising material used in Ariane 5 / Ariane 6 ? And maybe a more « personnal » question, but what is their favourite anecdote regarding way we build rockets in Europe ?

How many people are involved in the production of one Ariane 6 rocket? From how many countries? And how long does that take, from first screw to launch? Btw, are there screw on a rocket ?

What will be the attitude adopted by the Ariane 64 launcher during its gravity turn? Position in « + » shape or « x » shape ? (or other ?)
