        @PP_robin @AriMelber So they should wait until they get shot to know for sure, then.

        @DMiddletonCbus @PP_robin @AriMelber They should do their jobs properly, or if they're not capable of doing so without killing kids... quit.

        @jwilcox79 @PP_robin @AriMelber So they should have waited to see if Tamir Rice shot at them, then?

        @DMiddletonCbus Heres how cops respond to calls of guns (real ones!) when they're white: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51dTbqLnSaU … /https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfK1fJhZX7g …

        @NefiWong @AriMelber anyone with common sense who doesn't believe that the police are judge, jury, and executioner.

        @jmood88 @arimelber @nefiwong anyone with common sense teaches their kids not to point any gun, toy or otherwise at police.

        @subtledeviancy @AriMelber @NefiWong that didn't happen here, so that's irrelevant.

        @jmood88 @arimelber @nefiwong teaching ones kids to do that has a drastic effect on kids not getting shot via police=relevant

        @subtledeviancy @AriMelber @NefiWong except at no point did he point the toy at the police.

        .@AriMelber This is a distraction implying that the police can just shoot anyone with a gun, no questions asked. That cannot be sufficient.

      2. Kent Pitman ‏@KentPitman 28 Dec 2015

        Uh, I erred here. It means police can shoot ANYONE ANY TIME, since allegation a ham sandwich seemed a gun is sufficient & irrefutable cause.

      @AriMelber isn't Ohio an open carry state?

      @AriMelber So presumably if an armed citizen sees a rogue cop about to murder a child, they don't have to wait either.

        .@AriMelber Rather than mandatory desk duty after shooting, why not mandatory trial? Would any of us, shot dead, expect any less? #TamirRice

        .@AriMelber Absent REAL question, a trial might get police back in action faster than 30 days. I bet not in #TamirRice case…but rightly so.
