I hate that I find myself more aligned with Singal's side on this issue, the way that people responded to this letter couldn't have been more illustrative of the points that were raised in the Harper's letter.

That letter was a trap. They knew what they were doing, the response they would have had. If they didn’t get any criticism, they would have proof by association with signatures (“See? Good people agree!”). If they did, they would have proven the letter content.
