2/ However, @JeffDSachs also criticized the oil industry, even as @mauriciomacri bets big on #Argentina's unconventional oil and gas sector. "If Argentina wants to be the renewables powerhouse of South America, it'd have no problem at all," he said.
3/ But #Argentina can reassure @JeffDSachs that it is also all-in on renewables. By law, 8% of Argentina’s electricity consumption must come from renewable sources this year, and 20% by 2025. Last year, renewables accounted for approximately 2% of the electricity supply.
