The #ArgentinaProject, in @TheWilsonCenter's @LATAMProg, was proud to host today's #ArgentinaCaucus launch, where the high-level participation and packed house signaled the enthusiasm among public officials and businesses for this historic initiative.
It drew 5 congressmen: Homeland Security Committee Chairman @RepMcCaul; @RepEliotEngel, the ranking member on the House Foreign Affairs Committee; HFAC Chairman @RepEdRoyce; @RepPaulCook, chairman of the HFAC's Western Hemisphere Subcommittee, and his predecessor, @repjeffduncan.
For anyone keeping score, #Argentina also played a leading role in the #ArgentinaCaucus launch, though it no doubt involved interrupting Mar del Plata and Punta del Este vacations. Chargé d'Affaires Sergio Perez, from @ARGinUSA, and his deputy, @GerryDBartolome, participated.
