Fear is totally justified. If they win, It is not the traditional peronist party that is returning to power, but the extreme populist left that disregards the republican system of gov and wants to perpetuate in power, like Bolivia, Venezuela, and Cuban presidents.

If Peronism wins the upcoming election. It is more likely that is not going to be an issue. Most people fear now than ever before. Peronism is the new hope for Argentina and if the opposition players want to overcome Peronism they could do so. Peronism has respected democracy!
