Crop hoarding (in anticipation of further peso weakening) is not the only reason #Argentina's bumper crop will have limited economic impacts. There's also the labor-market issue: Farms in the pampas are generally capital-intensive, so a bigger harvest ≠ major job creation.

so far liquidacion de divisas is below 2018. makes sense given in march, producers liquidate inventory from previous harvest before new harvest dollars come in. given 2018 drought, stocks and sales are lower March 2019. should revert as corn sales kick in, and soy later on..
