1) In a new survey, @Poliarquia_ found that elites in #Argentina are feeling glum, with only 9% expressing a positive view of the country's condition, compared to 69% a year ago.
2) That said, #Argentina's elites appear confident President @mauriciomacri has stopped the bleeding: 57% told @Poliarquia_ they expect this year to be better than the last. 49% approve of the president, far above the national average, and 74% expect him to be reelected.
3) Moreover, @Poliarquia_'s findings suggest that #Argentina's elites are supportive of #IMF-imposed austerity: 45% of respondents recommended "reducir el gasto público" as a national priority.
