In his op-ed, Prof. Tokatlian suggests #Argentina is voting with the U.S. more often at @UN. However, the overall "voting coincidence" is relatively low (<27%), even in @StateDept's calculation, which gives credit for an abstention when @USUN would prefer an up or down vote.
That said, on the most important votes last year, #Argentina's “voting coincidence” at the UN General Assembly was 59%, well above the average (49%) among #LatinAmerica's governments.
