I must say, having COVID is... a weird experience. It's a VERY surreal experience to have to walk with gloves and a mask in your own house (basically bedroom to bathroom), whilst carrying wipes to disinfect any last thing you touch. (1/?)
Also, it's really knowing that you can ONLY go into those 2 rooms. That, along with contact whatsoever with anyone is much more psychologically taxing than I thought it would be. (2/?)
And the tastebud thing. OOF. I never appreciated my tastebuds so much before this. It's not like I taste nothing, it's just that everything i taste is... jumbled. A glass of frsh orange juice tasted only of a fair bitterness, and pasta tasted like nothing. (3/?)
I think that i have to thank my vocals tutor for the health of my breathing. I've been coughing like mad, but there is very little wear on my lungs, so far. On my head though, is a different story. Constant booming headaches, along with a good dose of fatigue. (5/?)
Overall, I don't even know why I'm writing this. Guess it's cathartic. It all feels very weird and I guess I am scared because coughing has been getting worse. No fever though! So that's good. Anyway, please take care if yourselves, wear a mask and wash your hands. Owl out. (5/5)
