I'm just saying, spirit healers have always been female. Why can't we include some male spirit healers too? People that advocate for the inclusion of everyone from all walks of life should be about this.
You could just read Chronicles I that explains exactly why the val'kyr were female and so were the spirit healers. Also, not every spirit healer was female, cause should you die in Zandalar, it's Bwonsamdi that greets you.
Bwonsamdi is not a spirit healer...
Gameplay wise, a Spirit Healer is an entity that brings your soul back to your body, which is what Bwonsamdi does for our characters in Zuldazar. Even with a canonical take, they are just said to be ascended Watcher Kyrians, who are not only female.
