I have had a blast playing @SupergiantGames Hades, but there's something I want to make clear. Almost 0 of the contents of the game are canon in Greek Mythos & the game makes a LOT of mistakes when it comes to Greek heritage & culture. Please don't take things as factual.

For example, at some point Demeter says how she used to call Persephone, her daughter, "Kore" and she picked the name Persephone. Thing is "Kore" (pronounced Ko-ree, κόρη) literally means daughter. She just called her daughter, daughter.

Moments like those took away from an otherwise masterpiece of a game, because of lackluster research; research that almost all who delve into Greek mythology do NOT do, and at times, ends up hurting the image of both the source material and the creator.

Bottom line is that as with everything else that is even remotely based in history or mythology, PLEASE consult historians who are specialized on the source material, or at least, get the script in few natives' hands for feedback. Greek mythos is beautiful & deserves better.
