Hey all you voice actors who are tweeting about how much representation matters? Stop auditioning for Black/Brown/LGBT roles that don’t fit your identity. Turn them down when people offer them to you. Make a list of people who ARE those identities, and refer directors to them.
Agreed, but that should go for every ethnicity. No love, your Russian/Greek/French/Italian/German et al. accent most likely sucks, & you are doing a massive disservice to actual voice actors that are from the places you are acting as a caricature of. Don't.

This applies mostly on Mediterranean, Slavic, Eurasian and Asian accents, since they have been appropriated, caricatured and many times villainized in Western Media.
