Yeah definitely power something.. not wireless like an airtag. the hole back of this is a ground plane for heat sinking so don't see any place to stick an antenna. As its round it might go on the end of a battery
probs just missing a battery board.. can't tell much from this pick need better shot of the dies and chips but that is a lot of filter caps soo power something...
That’s what I was thinking- It looks like a power adapter with all those capacitors. Plus it doesn’t seem to have enough chips and seems too big- Almost like a PSU for the trash can Mac Pro
