I can't remember if the developer identity is actually in there (I might've mixed it up with apps), but you can check the pass ID (just unzip the pkpass as if it were a ZIP), and open pass.json.
- If it was manually created, but sloppily faked, it will have someone else's pass type ID entirely (mine starts with http://pass.dev .ayden.ios) - If it was generated using a service like http://passkit.com , it'll probably have a prefix
