Not gonna lie that's interesting they have a red board I'm guessing it's to tell from the development units from the retail units

They always use red for EVTs but I don’t think it’s to distinguish it from production models in the wild. Apple’s goal is for none to escape, and even if they did they could tell either way. It could be to distinguish stages during development though! But who knows!
