As @FileAnAardvark mentioned, those were only ever shown on stage at the release event and in some images. They were apparently not very reliable or functional so they were swapped for just a big hole lol. Some parts may have been sent out but I doubt they ever sold them.

There were some official white models sent out as review units with matching boxes, the most common way to get one was with a conversion kit.

Very interesting! I’ve scoured eBay for hours looking for white iPhone 4/4Ss and all the light grills have looked the same. It would be awesome to find one though!
