Better phone than an iPhone? What do you think?

Basically any Android phone. My $100 Galaxy A10e running Android 9 can do MORE via SOFTWARE than ANY iPhone in existence running iOS 14 and will STILL do MORE than ANY iPhone running iOS 20 in the year 2026. I ditched iOS after 9 long years. Non-rooted Android > Jailbroken iOS.

Yes, agreed, but most people don't buy iPhones for a wide compatibility of software. They buy it for ease of use. The seamless use of the iPhone with the AirPods, HomePod, mac, etc. is better than fiddling with Android in my opinion (a 4 year android user gone iPhone X user)

It’s literally the same argument in the PC/Mac days - macs are toys, don’t do much, can’t be configured, real men use CLI etc etc. As much then as now - most mac users just want it to work.

Right. We don’t all wanna pick a fight. I can’t stand windows, but I don’t go around yelling that windows is bad. It’s not. I just don’t like it. So whenever a windows user tries to explain how bad and limited macOS is I just either let it go or fake agree.

I grew up on DOS, then had a short time on Mac in school then Win 3.1. At that time Windows was super clunky. Win 95 was tolerable. Win 7 on it was pretty cool but muscle memory made it hard to use. I didn’t mind it. But like you I prefer Macs. The new M1... mmmm
