    That is dead accurate. In fact, he saved the lives of hundreds of thousands of Syrians along with 100K disappeared and tortured to death. God bless De Mistura.

    Those who justify murder have contributed to the murder, even if they never picked a gun or a knife or dropped a bomb. The fact that they don't get any blood on their own hands makes them think they're not violent - this is a lie, they are.

    There are 2.3 million Syrians trapped in Idlib, half of whom were displaced from other cities by Assad-Russia bombardment. There's no where for these people to go now. They're ring-fenced in. The intl community has forsaken them. This promises to be the worse genocide of 21st C.

    Russia is about to help Assad exterminate and forcibly displace 2.3 million Syrians in Idlib, so I'm guessing she's visiting her Kremlin employer to ensure her forthcoming propagandized talking points are in synch.

    Visiting Moscow for a few days and several ppl have asked me if Americans really say and think the awful things about Russians that they hear American politicians saying on the news. I never know what to say, I get the sense most Americans have been conditioned to hate Russians

    If Western countries wanted to save civilians in Idlib they'd impose a no fly zone. It is that simple (FYI USA has already informally implemented a nofly zone to protect the kurds).

    In the end what was done/is being done in Syria will not stop in Syria. The model was tried and tested and found to work. Islamophobia works, the 'war on terror' narrative works - on both right and left. It's foolish to believe oppressors won't use it as often as they could now.

    We need to be wary of Russian tactics in Syria justifying killing civilians en masse because “there’s ISIS hiding among them”. International community eats it up. If there’s another Bosnian war they’ll play that ISIS card. Croatia already smeared BIH for breeding ISIS (laughable)

    History repeats itself.

    U.S. officials met with Syrian mukhabarat leader, Ali Mamlouk in Damascus to ask that Syria provide the US with information on Jihadists. Syria refused to help the US so long as the US occupies Syrian land & sanctions it.

    Muslims aren't silent, Muslim governments are. We are not our dictators, . These same dictators silence, imprison, torture, kill, and exile their own citizens - you think they'll care about the Uighur?

    Shameful that the Muslim world is so quiet as China attacks its Uighur Muslim community, trying to destroy its culture by detaining and "disappearing" one million in camps for "reeducation"
