The feeling of submitting a manuscript is for me often mixed feelings of relief, anxiety, hope and fear 😄 anyone feeling the same?

Interesting thoughts on gender bias in research and creating in general. "A woman's greases enemy? Lack of time for themselves". Luckily I have a staying-home husband+dad during my post doc abroad.

Fellow scientists, how much do you judge a paper based on where it is published? I have experience of people hardly reading paper in journals lower than IF 8 or so, is that common within aquatic sciences?
