@TeamYouTube I don’t quite understand this feature. So you’re telling me if I make kid friendly videos, then the younger people in my audience cannot have notifications or comments for my videos?https://twitter.com/YouTube/status/1169238478275526656 …

Machine learning will help identify content that is made for kids, as defined by the FTC (see D1 of their FAQs for more: https://ftc.gov/tips-advice/business-center/guidance/complying-coppa-frequently-asked-questions …). Since you know your videos & their target audiences best, you’ll also be required to self designate videos as made for kids.

Yes, but if my videos are appropriate for all ages, it’s suitable for kids, therefore comments will be disabled and my subscribers will not get notifications for my videos.

This applies to videos that are specifically made for kids – you can see Section D1 of the FTC FAQs for their definition of child directed content: https://ftc.gov/tips-advice/business-center/guidance/complying-coppa-frequently-asked-questions …. We'll have more resources on this in coming months, but your Partner Manager will reach out with more info.

Got it. Who is my partner manager? I’ve never spoken with them before. If it’s something that can’t be said to the public just send me a DM please. Thanks!
