So basically, you tweeted out a lie, intimated that it was breaking news, and...oops?

Just like 45 does on an hourly basis. April made a mistake, admitted it, and posted a correction... unlike anyone from this administration, especially the press secretary.
-
A “confirmed” mistake. Those are the painful ones. For sure. I’m not defending Trump, I’m calling out media idiocy.
-
Josh, the " idiocy" here is your comments and heckling.
-
It's idiotic to demand more from the media when they have confirmed breaking news that is utterly WRONG? The idiocy is the fact that the original tweet is STILL not deleted. Get over yourself.
-
When you hold the media to higher standards than the president.......
-
I must have missed where I expressed my personal feelings about the President. By all means, please, tell how I feel.
-
Deleting the tweet would be deleting the original story, that has now been corrected. This is how journalism works. If an error occurs the organization tries to correct it, not cover it up.

So now delete your other inaccurate tweet that has already been retweeted thousands of times.
-
Not until Trump deletes all of his tweets
-
"Trump lies all the time so it's ok for journalists to lie" is apparently the argument we're seeing here.

-
It's all they've got left.
