    Mindfulness is often marketed as another technique for feeling good. The practice of is actually for being with whatever shows up & feeling with whomever shows up. The point is a deeply life, not a comfortably pleasant life.

    Some things I teach: 1. We feel stuff - some comfortable & some not 2. It is impossible to always be comfortable 3. Working skillfully with discomfort is helpful Sometimes people pushback really hard on #2 🙂
