      Would a similar thing (Force dfu + uart) be possible with iPhones, and perhaps Apple Watch? It'd be cool to be able to have serial output without those costly cables

      Oh lol, I thought they costed double that… maybe it was like that when they first came out Reasoning still holds for the iBUS. Is there a cheaper alternative?

      Ok, so not very different. Thanks 🙏🏻 Oh, btw, since you have some knowledge on debug cables... Afaik the iBus has a lightning female output Would it be possible to connect a Bonobo (or any other debug canle, also a DCSD perhaps) to the Apple Watch and get the dbg capabilities?

      It’s better to ask someone who got an iBUS, but my suggestion is no, as there’re to few pins on Watch side cc. @tihmstar @axi0mX @AppleInternalsh (who got real original iBUS)

          No jtag, but it does contain a tristar chip you can reference to one of my tare-down tweetsa while back. It does show the ship number it’s the same tristars used in older iPhones
