      that bacon FACT cable will auto boot diags when plugged into a device that has it. Normal cables do not do this.

      No, but @AppleInternalsh is wrong. The FACT cables act different, as I had a friend test and tear his own one down. I have two standard Bacon Cable.

      The one that auto boot to Diags is old FT232 chipset, FACT cable servers the same purpose as DCSD, just providing UART communications

          I have experienced that every single FACT DCSD canndo UART, but also auto boots diags. Those labeled without FACT on tag never do this.
