I don’t remember that with my device i had gotten from you, did not connect to the computer no matter what you tried. possibly so you couldnt see it in PurpleSNIFF to verify its legitimacy? because i tried like three different dock connectors..

All PVT are secured + prod there’s no way you can check from sniff if it’s legitimate or not , the best want to check if pvt are legitimate is see if iBoot is under development or not.also sniff don’t work right with the newest OS, anything about iOS 11 Non-Ui are not recognized

I could have seen if iboot was development and your explanation doesn’t match up with a 7.1 switchboard device not showing up, could not even read its own serial number or main logic board number, then to top it all off the housing had a sticker over the imei/fcc label...

all my device shows up on sniff now after dock fpc replacement, the SN is very easy to change... you have to read the actual SN from Tristar . Also all the pvt are just defective logic board on the production line, they didn’t pass the iQC test so they have the factory FW remains

But maybe it was just some broken device that got thrown out, who knows. But you still have the devices (pvt) with etching declaring them either evt or dvt. Some even just empty housings. Or perhaps i’m mistaken.

Yes all pvt does not come with housing Because they didn’t even make it to the station for installation, so non of PVT housing are legitimate. Because why would factory install a defective board in to a housing. there are somebody out there who make those housing so they can sell
