Oh, I bought some iPhone 7’s that Apple had marked “as is” for some reason a while ago. Never heard of that sorta thing until I asked apple support about it
This weird iPad (with no engravings, but isn’t a prototype) shows up on Apple’s database as an “AS IS iPad”. Never heard of Apple selling devices in “as is” condition before, however (as to my best guess) the iPad is likely old unused stock that was liquidated.pic.twitter.com/tAK389ys6q

You can receive support on « as is » but in no condition whatsoever can it be covered under any warranty. It can be repaired at cost to end used and cannot never be qp’ed
