They seem to offer same device replacements for a very long time. I was amazed at being offered a Watch 2015 replacement 4 years after purchase, was expecting to be offered a Series 1 at that point. 6 years after is astonishing. I wonder when these units ran out...?

Same here. I had my Series 1 Watch replaced recently. I was shocked to see that they sent me a brand new Series 1.
