Just out of curiosity, can those be put in English?
Purchased yet another obscure iPhone model, possibly even more rare than the previous one! An iPhone 3G (Chinese Model) with no Wi-Fi. From my knowledge, this model was only put out so Apple would be able to sell iPhone 3G in China; before the Wi-Fi technologies where approved.pic.twitter.com/Tv0TindhDH

Is there any Wi-Fi chip at all (maybe disabled via software)

There is actually a variable to disable WiFi. On iPhone models with WiFi, adding this variable will make WiFi option not appearing in Settings. If you remove this variable on China iPhone without WiFi, you may see WiFi option. Won’t be usable since there is no WiFi MAC Address.

this is one of the iPhones I really want to own. They’re really unique because of their hardware limitations. All Chinese iPhones are cool imo.

The current Chinese iPhone models are way better with dual physical SIMs. The China iPhone 12 series even support 5G in Dual SIM Mode earlier than other regions models.
