Could be much more meaningful inquiry if Committee scheduled only one circuit court nominee per hearing, which was customary. Cannot have fulsome Q & A if must pack entire slate into Senators’ schedules.

1. We all know few judges write their own opinions. Does he? 2. Candor in judicial opinions occurs, but rarely regarding hot-button issues that concern Senate. 3. Tweets, being intuitive, are more revealing of priors, temperament.
