We have an in-house copy shop for federal Court of Appeals. But smaller firms and others outsource.

We don't have an in-house copy shop, but our legal assistants do it for Fed. COA. Never had any issues.

I use a printer for everything outside the 5th. saves me from having to sweat local rules esp DC
