It’s going to be a very special day for 7 year old Tom who is the son of Dublin legend John O’Leary. Tom, who was born with a serious heart condition, is going to present the match ball to the referee on behalf of the Jack and Jill foundation. Good luck Tom

This is beyond disgraceful. Shaming people who suffer from addiction to score some political points. are constantly proving themselves to be completely out of touch with this country. Shameless & tone-deaf.

  19. I’ve never played politics with drugs issue. It is too important & there is real prospect of radical change in policy with cross-party support that’ll save lives. This crass juvenile post is beneath the dignity of a party that is offering itself to govern. FF need to apologise.

Bit of a cheap and reductive line of attack from in this (now deleted) tweet. Harm reduction saves lives.

Not alone are they adding to the stigma around addiction but criticising a scheme that is aimed harm reduction and the people it would help in a bid to political point score is disgraceful. Really distasteful tweet, although not surprising.
