Too gutted right now to say all that ought to be said. Michael was a fine man and a rare talent and on our journey together he always deserved the best words. And today those words won't come.
I never met the man. But his passing guts me. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones… Omar’s whistlin’ on his way to heaven right about now.

I didn’t know #MichaelKWilliams well at all. I only had the great pleasure of meeting him a handful of times, at various events, including for The Wire. But, his humanity was palpable. I had visions of future collaborations. Life is too short & shorter it seems for the good.
