    I'm still trying to wrap my head around the government releasing a summary of a major report on race disparity under a "no approach" embargo, which specifically barred the media from gathering reactions. Glad ignored that for our report.

    An update on our Croydon housing investigation: Fransoy and her two boys - who were forced to live in a leaking, mouldy, dangerous flat (described as the worst in Britain) - have been found a permanent, two bedroom council house. She moves in tomorrow, and says she’s very happy

  14. The Freshwater 5 judgement is out and they lost - the Court of Appeal upheld the convictions. Devastating news for the family and who highlight the judges' finding that there was a failure to disclose evidence at the original trial that "should not have happened".

    UK could be vulnerable to new controls on export of vaccines from EU, based on the EU framework just announced - because 1) we have much more advanced vaccination prog than EU (a criterion for the EU when restricting exports 2) EU has already approved supply to UK of 10.9m...
