  15. Don’t use the RGV to try and pin Texas red on us. Trump ran ahead in Texas with white voters. Don’t fall for this Latino RGV distraction. Yes, we have work to do in the RGV but the bigger story is anglos did not match Beto numbers, they went Trump. 5/5

  16. Even if Biden had carried the RGV it wouldn't have been enough to flip Texas. The real obstacle was that Trump completely consolidated rural and rural adjacent areas. Big shifts back to the GOP among anglos in Texas. 4/5

  20. National data shows Latinos overall voted for Biden. The one big racial ethnic group that didn’t vote for Biden and voted for Trump are white voters. Stop asking why some Latinos voted R and let’s talk about how come white people are so Republican.
