Antifa Human Resources & Comrade Relations

It’s been well documented that joey Gibson has an intimate relationship with the Portland police, it’s also well known that the Portland left has an extremely tenuous relationship with police.

The right has always been pro enforcement, pro police, anti freedom of movement(see immigration stance), anti freedom of expression(see joeys demasking campaign). The right desires controls for the folks they deem undesirable but not for themselves.

There’s a common trope from right wing propagandists about the violent left, let’s look at this in Portland to see how it’s false.

Portland is a famously left wing city, has been for decades. People come here to be around like minded people. There’s certainly right wing equivalents of this all over the country, so why do right wing people continue to descend on Portland for rallies?

After the election of trump, Portland street action blew up in response. Very few people in Portland were opposed to this. However the right, most notably joey Gibson, saw this as an opening to push back against the left here and more importantly an opportunity to make money.

Joey Gibson began throwing pro trump rallies for the few conservatives here. Public rallies are a contested space and he was well aware this would bring conflict. His rallies quickly became breeding grounds for known fascists and neo nazis, even he acknowledged this early on.

Enter Antifa, wherever fascists show up in public spaces, antifa will show up to counter. What many “free speech” warriors fail to see is that this is also protected freedom of expression.

These rallies became contentious, as joey wanted because conflict equals exposure. Culminating with joey throwing a huge rally, chock full of neo nazis, one week after one of his followers murdered two people on the max train. Had joey had any decency he would have postponed.

A couple years later and many conflicts later we’re back to the same place. Many of joeys disciples have abandoned him because he is a known grifter, including the entire proud boys network. So now we are back at a place where he needs muscle in the streets to continue his grift.

Enter mayday 2019. Everyone who knows anything knows this is a labor holiday, celebrated by the left. Joey Gibson, haley Adams, and other assorted fascists certainly know this and made plans to troll this day with the hopes they could capture violence on camera.

The violence on camera is the key to inspiring more right wingers to show up, editing to fit a narrative is the key. After their morning troll failed to work they teamed up with some of the more violent fascists in the area to attack a private event at cider riot.

Some will say, we’ll Antifa shows up to their events. Once again public rallies are a contested space, private events at private businesses are not. No Antifa have showed up to any of their bars or planning sessions with weapons looking for a fight, but this isn’t the first time.

A few months ago Haley Adams pulled this stunt at the iww house, twice. The second time they attempted to force their way in to a private event and were met with strong resistance. Of course they took this opportunity to assault more people at weekend events.

So they figured they would try it again at a bar, where antifascists held their ground but did nothing to invite this conflict. Joey and Haley will tell you they just want to talk. To any smart observer this obvious bs, you don’t show up to your enemies Jose with weapons to talk

So say what you want about Antifa or the left but understand that joey Gibson, haley Adams, and the rest of the goons that showed up last night did so with the intent of producing conflict for the purposes of propaganda, so that they can make profit off suckers that believe them.
