It's only partly a matter of racism. There are some racial undertones like black people are expected to vote for him because he is less bad for him. He makes the same argument to everyone about being the less evil Capitalist overlord. Just fill in the blank where "black" is.

This is all class based discrimination. The only disproportionate effect on blacks is due to them being a minority and being politically active. Hence they are more likely to address him in the first place, and more likely to be condescended to for being poor working class.
