What is the story with 'Radio War Nerd'?

The War Nerd guy is a creep who got his start in writing at the old Exile magazine that Matt Taibbi and Mark Ames came out of (and also a buddy of Limonov).

He wrote about war (hence the name) from a detached and nihilistic perspective in that kind of 90s transgressive style that was very popular at the time. Basically fetishizing brown people killing brown people from a privileged white perspective.
