Maciej Zurowski, the author of this shitty Nazi hagiography has a history of writing anti-antifa diatribes and promoting Nazi bands like Death in June.
Probably should have been a warning sign, @jacobinmag! http://www.whomakesthenazis.com/2011/12/maciej-zurowski-of-runes-and-men.html …

Left is the National Bolshevik Party flag, founded by Eduard Limonov. Right is the Nazi flag. THIS IS NOT A SUBTLE DISTINCTION,
@jacobinmag. Seriously, what the fuck were you thinking?

Shit like this is *exactly* why we have fascists drooling as they look at the casual racism and misogyny of the Aimee Terese/Red Scare fandom. They see a goldmine of disaffected young people with no backbone of feminism and anti-racism as the base of their politics.

Scratch a dirtbag left misogynist, and a fascist will bleed. Always. We need to be vigilant about this kind of entryism into the left. The world we build will be reflected by how it's built. Racists, misogynists, and anti-imperial cryptofascists are no friends of the left.

The historic Jacobins were pretty fashy, shouild have been a warning sign when they named themselves that.

You're kind of betraying an ignorance of the politics of the French Revolution here. If you'd like an engaging overview, I recommend the lecture series Living the French Revolution by Suzanne Desan on Audible, though she does have a slight royalist bias.
