As bad as the world is right now, people like this make me smile. Even if life gets you down, never forget that landlords are complete bastards who are stealing from your family.

Just out of curiosity, before this heroic blow against “the man” did any of the tenants inquire if their landlord was open to helping out? If I was this person with a mortgage, $30,000 suddenly vanishing would freak me out too.

Good point. Or maybe he can stop paying his bills too? If everyone just doesn't pay their bills then they can't do anything to any of us, right? We may have just made money useless!!! I wonder if this is how Star Trek did it?

Well he can call the cops - after going through the legal eviction process. Which will take months, and months and months, & with court backups from other weasel landlords doing the same more months and more months, all while his tenants live rent free.
