2/ When we're talking about Nazis, it's important to be clear when we talk about "threat." Their goal, after all, is to spread fear and build power. We don't want to engage in fear-mongering, or hand the far-right any easy propaganda wins. So we need to be accurate.

3/ There's a few things we should keep in mind when discussing Patriot Front. The first is that though they had ~120 members present yesterday, their national membership is only ~200 people. They flew guys in from all over the country for this.

4/ They spent a *ton* of money on plane tickets and van rentals-- even more when you consider most of their members are in the 18-25 range-- and for what? A few decent propaganda photos while they hide behind the cops?

6/ That's not a big leap. Part of the problem is that their leader, Thomas Rousseau, is a paranoid weirdo. His number one concern-- even above organizing-- is not getting his guys doxxed.
