To be clear; this isn’t to say that these specific guys aren’t still doing shitty things, but in general we lefties shouldn’t disregard people who have left hate movements as bullshitting b/c they, for example, they disagree with antifa tactics for being “too violent.”

It has taken me almost 20 years of exposure to the left to leave behind my radical right wing upbringing (Christian Identity). Also losing the fear of 'going to hell' isn't trivial. I also went through a radical centrist phase. I appreciate the patience people had with me greatly
