I did read the thread. It's why I commented specifically on the thread and the many, many people commenting that you are not just wrong but kind a special shade of wrong. I hope you're humble enough to at least question yourself.

feel free to explain why you think that "Jews secretly control US foreign policy" is not an antisemitic conspiracy theory, then

Those are your words, not mine. It is absolutely legitimate to criticize AIPAC, as well as the governments of individual countries without being anti-semitic. Perpetuating that these lobbies and governments are immune from criticism is to play into the hands of the right.

No one's saying that you can't criticize AIPAC or Israel. Fuck AIPAC, and fuck the Israeli right, too. But to claim that AIPAC somehow controls the foreign policy of a superpower like the US is a conspiracy theory that plays perfectly with neo-Nazis.

Omar suggested GOP support for Israel is driven mostly by financial concerns, and Israel obviously receives one of the most disproportionate amount of legislative attention of any foreign country. AIPAC is just one element of that. Yes?

The US is the superpower here. No one tells them what to do. AIPAC only made up 0.6% of all PAC money spent in 2018. The US pursues a murderous foreign policy in the Middle East because of oil and defense contractor interests, not solely because of AIPAC.

No one said "solely." The money isn't as relevant as a political party hiding behind adherence to a religiously affiliated group and suggesting that any criticism of Israel or lobbies is anti-semitic. It's ludicrous bullshit, and you know it, but you're perpetuating GOP lies.

I'm not saying "Don't criticize Israel." Definitely criticize Israel. The US has a lot of reasons for supporting Israel-- big oil, defense contractors, Christian Zionism-- but reducing the analysis to "AIPAC controls the US" doesn't serve the left well.pic.twitter.com/IWW7XT09ai

I'm well aware of her comments, but trying to re-invent those words to say that AIPAC controls the US...you put it in quotes and she didn't even say it. The words you criticize her for are your words. You are furthering the misinformation campaign.

So what does "it's all about the Benjamins" and then specifically mentioning AIPAC mean?
