Also, when the media covers this, can we finally have a conversation about the far-right's obsession with pedophilia/sex trafficking? It's Joey Gibson's new grift, too, and there's very specific ideological reasons that they're choosing it.

The far-right organizes in support of the patriarchy, and it's exactly these differences in power and money that drives sexual abuse. As feminist critics have maintained for 40+ years, sexual abuse is about power.

And the same power hierarchies advocated by the far-right are the same hierarchies enabling sexual abuse. So instead, they choose bizarre conspiracy theories, blaming sexual abuse on pizza joints and butterfly centers to mask their own support of rape culture.

I don't have a lot to offer here, except to point this out. It's something I'm still struggling to articulate myself, but it's there, and the role of toxic masculinity is often underemphasized in far-right organizing, so it's a conversation we need to have.
